Alma Allen is a Certified Personal and Executive Coach (CPEC) whose passion is to help others achieve peak performance-whether personally or professionally. Alma has dedicated the next chapter of her life and her coaching practice to serving healthcare professionals, because she understands the work and business of healthcare and has also experienced many of the challenges that healthcare professionals face today-including staff attrition, difficulty recruiting qualified clinicians, staff burnout, managing multiple priorities with less resources and the moral distress from the balancing act of the innate urge to provide the best patient care possible (weather you are front-line or leading clinical teams), while also wanting and needing to be an involved and engaged parent, spouse,/partner, care-giver or any of the other personal obligations that are important.

Personal Life
Alma is a published author and experienced nurse leader with over 2 decades of experience. Alma received her undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in leadership and management from George Washington University. Her clinical experiences include staff nurse roles in various specialties at large trauma hospitals and leadership roles managing multi-million dollar, patient care operations in various healthcare setting.
Alma celebrates 20 years of marriage to her best friend Anthony, and they live in the DC area with their active family of 7. She is an avid yoga practitioner and is currently learning to play the acoustic guitar with her 7-year-old daughter-Zoe has far-surpassed Alma😊
Alma is an enthusiastic and passionate Coach whose approach incorporates exploratory inquires to help clients gain clarity and direction about their goals and desires. Alma believes that Radical Self-Care is the “magic bullet” to achieving greatness and peak performance.
